Did you know that McDonald’s serves pizza?

I didn’t either until stumbling upon an article on Business Insider over the weekend. There are only three US locations that have it on the menu, so don’t feel bad!

Even though the article was interesting, it reaffirmed something for me about the internet: There’s a lot of information online and sometimes we overlook quality stories.

I read Business Insider articles for information about politics, education, and of course – business. However, I’m always open to exploring other topics and articles that appear. I never pigeonhole my learning.

Now, I’m not saying that discovering McDonald’s “pizza” was helpful, but it could be useful if I was ever playing a trivia game or needed a conversation starter while waiting in line. This week, it provided inspiration for today’s topic.

As you search for scholarship information online, be open to looking at other areas on the website you’re visiting. There could be useful and helpful information that you overlook.

For example, don’t just come to this website and only read today’s post. Check out other areas too! There are additional resources that can assist you in reaching your other educational and career goals.

If you remember nothing else, remember that scholarship information and inspiration can be found everywhere. Don’t be afraid to expose yourself to new ideas; they could very well lead to new opportunities to help you pay for college.
