FAFSA/TASFA Reminder Language:

Your Remind/SignalVine texting accounts can help you follow up with your one-on-one conversations you’re having with students. The sample social media posts on Form Your Future can also be repurposed for your texting accounts.

Week 16 Dallas County FAFSA Updates:

As of week 16, 9,152 (33%) of Dallas County seniors have completed their FAFSA. For comparison, last year 9,122 (also 33%) had completed FAFSA at this time. Last year the county missed the goal by just a few hundred students. March 15, the state priority deadline is about six weeks away! To break ahead of where you were at this time last year, use prioritized student lists to help identify students for support through text reminders or one-on-one support.

Have all of these students completed FAFSA/TASFA?

  • Students that have submitted a FAFSA/TASFA but need to complete verification/missing signatures for their application to be complete
  • Students who have completed an ApplyTX or CommonApp application but have not completed FAFSA/TASFA
  • Students who are top 25% who have not completed FAFSA/TASFA
